FIRST LEGO League is an 8 week competition (mid September to mid November) where teams of 10 kids (aged 9-14) compete to build an autonomous LEGO® Robot to complete predetermined missions. Teams solve real world technology problems in a fun, safe and supportive environment. See Lego League in action in this video!
Macquarie Anglican Church is creating some FIRST LEGO League teams, and your child is invited to join! Teams will meet for 2 hours weekly, to research and design their robot, hear a bit about Jesus, eat some food and have a great time! Given the Technology involved, there will be a weekly cost to cover purchase of materials. This will be kept to minimum ($80 for the season, or $8/meeting).
